It's been a long while since we have last posted on the website! So much has happened since Luke's 1st Birthday! Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Birthdays and January have all come and gone! It's now February and we are making a promise to post more on the website moving forward!
Check back soon and often for Team Saip pictures, videos and updates on our fun filled adventures!
What a beautiful day! We had the opportunity to go to the Bears game and took Connor with us. He had a blast and was the talk of the section! He did really great during the game and took a snooze during the 3rd quarter. Unfortunately, the Bears couldn’t get their act together in the 4th quarter to win the game. Cutler was taken down 6 times including a safety. Hester tied the NFL record for return TD’s so that was cool to witness! Connor seems to be the good luck charm for history in the making games (remember his first Cardinals game that went 20 innings!).
Today, Beth and I have been married for 2 years! Grandma Saip sent a card and said 60 years would be here before we knew it! They are too cute!
We spent the weekend with the kids and family. Friday night, we grilled out and played outside. On Saturday, we went to the eye dr and visited with Grandma Marsha. Today, we went to the petting zoo, Rookies for lunch and to Randy’s for a few rides with Grandma Debbie. Now, it’s time to sit down and watch the Bears take on the NY Giants! Thanks to all who wished us a Happy Anniversary! We have the best family and friends!
We are only two days away now from the birth of our son! We couldn’t be more excited at this point. It’s always fun to talk about it with Ella and Kiley! The other day they were putting babies under their shirts to be like Mommy!
The only bad part is that the girls still won’t be able to visit us in the hospital. I truly wish that they could be there before and after he is born. We will just have to take ton of pictures and I’m going to try and hang out with them for a few hours each day. I really want to take Ella to see the new Alvin and the Chipmunks Movie. I know she would love that.
Everytime I think about Friday, I get more and more anxious and excited. It’s a wonderful experience and I can’t believe we are so lucky to have another . We are so blessed to have Ella and Kiley and adding Connor to the mix is going to be great!
Yesterday, I was talking to a few clients and had great conversations about Friday with them. Dan from the Bears was giving me workout tips to get Connor in the NFL. He said the quickest way to the NFL is to be a Long Snapper! I’m sure we can try and make that happen He also mentioned it’s an easy way to get a college scholarship. That would be awesome too! I am wanting him and his cousin Jake to play pee wee football as I never did. I’m sure Osol, Schmidt and Fletcher will be willing to teach and train him!
Gonna run and head into the office. Be sure to check back soon as we will be updating the blog as much as we can over the next few days! Allison joked that we should do a live feed on Friday – who knows we just might! Ha ha!
We set up our Christmas Tree tonight and the girls loved it. I realized once the kids were in bed that I didn’t take enough pictures (which is a first). I only have one from before we started. It’s cute none the less. The girls are loving this time of year and it will be here before we know it.
Before Christmas though is my 29th birthday! Yikes! For all of you laughing right now that I’m getting older, just remember you are either my same age or older! So, me turning 29 only means you are just as old or older
Tomorrow we are heading to watch the Bears Game at Gold Class Theaters in Barrington with John and Jill. It’s free to get in and probably the best theater ever to watch a movie or a game. Allison and Donnie have been a few times this year and have loved watching the game there. I know, you wonder why we watch the Bears if they are this bad right now. We can’t give up on them and it’s a good reason to sit in the comfiest chairs ever!
I’m not sure what we will be up to after the game tomorrow. I know that we still have some shopping to do before our family Christmas pictures are taken on Monday Night. I don’t think Beth knows what she is going to wear. After that, we will need to get our Christmas cards ready and sent out. It’s going to be really cool in a few years to see each years Christmas cards. The Osol’s hang each years Christmas cards in their living room and it’s always cool to see every year.
Be sure to check out this awesome video of Kiley on the train at the zoo in St. Louis! We finally got her on film saying “AHHHHH BOOO!”
Today was a great day weather wise and Team Saip did a ton of stuff! First, we went to pre-bowl for my league in Hoffman Estates. Ella, Kiley and Beth got in on the action and bowled a game too. I didn’t do too bad but could have done better. It’s always interesting trying to pre-bowl and keep a good pace going.
After that, we came home and ate lunch. The girls took a nap and then it was off to Scott and Ann’s. We have a great visit and Julia is adorable. Check out the pics!
It’s off to bed now to get up early for the Bears Game! We are dropping the girls off at Grandpa Lee and Grandma Sue’s bright and early. Then it’s off to tailgate with Allison and Donnie! GO BEARS!
Yesterday was a great day! The weather wasn’t the greatest and we were a bit tired from Jessi’s wedding on Friday night but all and all it was a great day! I got Beth her favorite – Red Roses! She got me a Bears Polo, it’s love
We went and saw The Hangover at Gold Class Cinemas. That place is AWESOME! I totally recommend it for a night out. Great way to see a movie. Today we are going to start planning for our trip to NY next weekend. We need to find some cool things to do while we are out there. I just hope the weather will cooperate.
Alrighty, time to hit the shower and pick up the girls from Grandpa Lee and Grandma Sue. Bears game at noon. Bear Down!
