Kiley’s 2nd Birthday!

Today we are going to have some family over for Kiley’s 2nd Birthday! She turns 2 on January 18th but with Connor coming this week we wanted to make sure we had a special day for Kiley Bug! These past two years have gone by way too quickly! She’s doing her best to keep up with her Big Sister everyday and doing a great job at it. Some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth now is hilarious! Yesterday morning and today was all about Face Wipes! Too Cute!

Ella is home from her dad’s house and we are getting ready for the party. We have to run off to Wal-Mart to get some sundae toppings and ice cream, make sure Kiley gets a nap in and then prep for the party. It’s going to be a lot of fun!

Hopefully, when everyone visits the site they will notice the new look. Instead of going with a baby boy theme, we went with an overall new look that suits Team Saip! We are going to put a focus more on video and photos on the new site. Look for additions coming soon plus up to date information from the hospital on Connor Lee Saip’s birth

Christmas Decorations!

Before the Tree was put up!

We set up our Christmas Tree tonight and the girls loved it. I realized once the kids were in bed that I didn’t take enough pictures (which is a first). I only have one from before we started. It’s cute none the less. The girls are loving this time of year and it will be here before we know it.

Before Christmas though is my 29th birthday! Yikes! For all of you laughing right now that I’m getting older, just remember you are either my same age or older! So, me turning 29 only means you are just as old or older

Tomorrow we are heading to watch the Bears Game at Gold Class Theaters in Barrington with John and Jill. It’s free to get in and probably the best theater ever to watch a movie or a game. Allison and Donnie have been a few times this year and have loved watching the game there. I know, you wonder why we watch the Bears if they are this bad right now. We can’t give up on them and it’s a good reason to sit in the comfiest chairs ever!

I’m not sure what we will be up to after the game tomorrow. I know that we still have some shopping to do before our family Christmas pictures are taken on Monday Night. I don’t think Beth knows what she is going to wear. After that, we will need to get our Christmas cards ready and sent out. It’s going to be really cool in a few years to see each years Christmas cards. The Osol’s hang each years Christmas cards in their living room and it’s always cool to see every year.

Movie Night!

Last night we decided to have a family movie night with Ella. After dinner, we went out to get a “surprise.” Ella was super excited and when we got to Best Buy she said she was going to close her eyes so I could pick out the surprise and show her. Well, she didn’t really do all of that but we went in and picked up Disney’s new movie UP. They had a deal running on this and Monsters, Inc. so I picked up both on Blu-ray. Ella was more excited about Monsters, Inc. but we ended up watching the new movie.

While in line, the cashier pulled a penny out from behind Ella’s ear and she was shocked that a penny came out from there and didn’t fall out on it’s own. When we got to the car, Ella was so happy she just wanted to show Mommy what the surprise was. We went home, took a bath, put Kiley to bed and then put on the movie.

The movie was great and looked awesome in 1080p on our tv. I love buying animated movies with our new set up. We made popcorn and Ella stayed up for the whole movie. It was 10 o’clock before it ended and that’s when we learned our valuable lesson – don’t let Ella stay up that late. When we were done, she wanted to go upstairs and watch another movie, then it was to read a book and so on. She wanted to keep going so when we said it was just time for bed because it was really late, she got upset.

So, now only movie nights will take place on the weekends a bit earlier than 8:30! If you haven’t seen the movie, Team Saip recommends it

Great Day!

Today was a great day weather wise and Team Saip did a ton of stuff! First, we went to pre-bowl for my league in Hoffman Estates. Ella, Kiley and Beth got in on the action and bowled a game too. I didn’t do too bad but could have done better. It’s always interesting trying to pre-bowl and keep a good pace going.

After that, we came home and ate lunch. The girls took a nap and then it was off to Scott and Ann’s. We have a great visit and Julia is adorable. Check out the pics!

It’s off to bed now to get up early for the Bears Game! We are dropping the girls off at Grandpa Lee and Grandma Sue’s bright and early. Then it’s off to tailgate with Allison and Donnie! GO BEARS!

Only 3 more months!

Matt and I had a great time in New York last weekend!!! It was not exactly a relaxing vacation, but it was nice to get away for a few days just the two of us! I think it will be a while before we get to do that again. Thanks again to everyone that helped with all of our kids to make that possible!!! We got to walk around Times Square, see Mary Poppins on Broadway, go to the Giants game, hang out in the West Village for a fancy dinner, walk through Central Park, see the Columbus Day parade, and walk up and down 5th ave/Park ave among many other things while we were there for 3 short days. All I know is that we came home way more exhausted than we were when we left. And everything in New York is really expensive!!! I don’t think I could live there, but it was so much fun to visit!!!

This weekend we have another busy couple of days planned. Tomorrow morning I am going out with Allison and all of her bridesmaids for lunch and dress shopping…should be tons of fun! Matt is hanging out with the girls and Grandma Debbie. We are then going to have a full house with Grayce and Gretchen joining us for the evening so that Derrik and Mary can enjoy a night out for their anniversary. The girls will love it! Sunday we are headed to Goebberts Pumpkin farm with family and friends for some fall festivities! The girls love the pumpkin farm! Ella starts dance class again on monday. Busy busy busy!!!

Only 3 more months until we have this little baby boy! This pregnancy is going so quickly. I am still feeling pretty good. Just starting to get a little more tired and sore by the end of the day. Really not too much to complain about, although, Matt might tell you that I do complain all of the time . The holidays are fast approaching so it will be January before we know it!

Sunday Funday!

Team Saip will be getting the girls pictures taken today at Noon. Ella’s 4th Birthday was a couple weeks ago and now we have to catch up! Should be a good time. The girls always have been really good when getting their pictures taken!

Then we are off to grandpa ralph’s birthday party! It should be a great time with family. We are also thinking about stopping by Allison and Donnie’s for a holiday bbq. We will see where the day takes us!
