    Merry Christmas!

    Friday, December 25th, 2009

Team Saip would like to take a minute and wish all of our Family and Friends a very Merry Christmas! This is our favorite time of the year and have had a great time thus far! The girls had a blast opening gifts from Santa this morning. Santa brought all sorts of fun stuff for them and they will be entertained for a long time!

This afternoon we are headed to Aunt Lori’s house to celebrate with Grandma Debbie, Aunt Lori, Uncle Joe, Uncle Rob and Aunt Sandy. It’s should be a great time!

I wanted to post some photos from the past few days as well. Enjoy!

    Ellas First Bears Game!

    Ella's First Bears Game!

Boy, it’s been one interesting week! I just wanted to post photos from the Chicago Bears game last Saturday and from Ella’s 4th Birthday Party! There are tons of photos from both.

Let’s start with the Chicago Bears game. We decided to take Ella to her first Bears game for her 4th Birthday and she had a blast. The NY Giants were able to get us sideline passes during warmups and it was an amazing experience. Ella is going to think we are going to get on the field for every game we get to go to! Check out the photos here.

Ella’s 4th Birthday part was the next day and it was tons of fun. Thanks to Aunt Lori and Uncle Joe for letting us have it at their house again in Woodstock. Our nephew Jake was the talk of the party! I don’t think John was even able to hold him the entire party because everyone wanted to get his hands on him.

    Ellas 4th Birthday

    Ella's 4th Birthday

We had a pool, slip n’ slide, bounce house, bags and great food. I wish we could have parties like that every weekend. It was a great way to relax for an afternoon and enjoy family.

Ella would like to say Thanks to everyone for making her day and birthday very special! Check out the photos here.

The end of a long weekend…

    Sunday, July 5th, 2009

We celebrated the fourth with family and friends here at our house. The weather cleared up just in time for a BBQ. Butcher on the block has the best brats and stuffed mushrooms by the way! We started out playing bags on the wii but did get a few games in outside. John and Robert (Eli) were the reighning champs! We ended up going to see Eve 6 at the fest in Crystal Lake. I now know why they haven’t been popular since high school. We had a good time, but the band sucked if you ask me! The girls even partied til almost 10:30. They both passed out mid concert…guess they though Eve 6 was lame too!

Today was the laziest day ever! We spent the whole day watching movies with the girls! It was nice to just be at home and relax for once. Matt did take the girls in the pool for a little while tonight so at least we made it outside sometime today. Well I am lucky enough to still have tomorrow off, but poor Matt has to go back to reality tomorrow. We hope all of you had a great holiday weekend!

    4th of July!

    Saturday, July 4th, 2009

So, it’s the 4th already! We are getting ready to have  people over today for a bbq. It’s raining right now so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. The usual clan is heading over – Grandma Debbie, Grandma Marsha, Grandpa Mark, John, Jill, Jake (in womb), Donny, Derrik, Mary, Grayce, and Gretchen. Lauren and Robert (looks a lot like Eli Manning) from Beth’s work are coming as well! Happy 4th to all and look for pictures from today tomorrow!

As for yesterday, Ella and I spent the morning helping Ashley move out of the city. She is moving up to Madison to be with Fletcher. I still don’t know why… LOL. Ella was a great helper and Ashley’s mom gave her $10 because of how helpful she was. I’m thinking it’s because she’s too cute! After we got back from Chicago, Team Saip headed out to a festival in Crystal Lake. Kiley rode on the Ferris wheel at 17 Months Old! She has no fear and was just saying “Weeeeee” the whole time. Beth and I couldn’t believe it. We came home and spent the night getting ready for the party today. Cut the lawn, put up the pool, and played outside with the girls. It was a great time (except for mowing the lawn).

Big news in MLB, Pujols hit a grand slam (31st Homerun) as the Cardinals beat the Reds! Grandma and Grandpa Saip will get to see an awesome All Star game next weekend. Hopefully, we will be able to get the two extra tickets!

Here are some photos that John posted on Flickr from their baby shower! Here are photos from 7/3!

    Beth can finally Post!

    Sunday, June 21st, 2009

Hey everyone! We had a great day today celebrating father’s day, and we hope you all did as well! Arlington Park started off interesting with the weather, but we were lucky to find a spot inside in the air conditioning for most of the day. We had a great time visiting with everyone and betting on ponies. We won a few races, but Grandpa Lee was the lucky one with his 8′s. After Arlington Park, we went out to dinner at Fridays. We are finally home, girls are in bed, mommy and daddy are relaxing now and watching Matt’s favorite movie of all time Ferris Bueller (on BluRay none the less).  And by the way, it doesn’t really look much better than the 1986 version.  I have to give a shout out to our Redbirds who happen to be a game and a half ahead in FIRST PLACE!  Well I hope everyone enjoys the new site. Look forward to more frequent posts from us with word press.
