Yesterday, Beth and I were able to be the Mystery Reader for Ella’s class. We signed up at the Parent Teacher Night back when  she started school and I was fortunate enough to have a 1/2 day at work in order to join Beth at the school.

We showed up a little before 3, buzzed the class and snuck in to surprise Ella. We read a pretty cool book to the class about a Caterpillar that turns into a butterfly after eating a ton of food. We had food props and a stuffed Caterpillar to have the kids join in along the book. They all had a great time!

Ella couldn’t stop talking about the book. She wanted to get Kiley from daycare and have her read it right away! It was certainly a special moment that we were able to share with Ella!
