Busy Busy

Well, we have done a lot in the past few weeks! Beth turned 30, Ella turned 5 and started kindergarten! We enjoyed ourselves at Dan and Sarah's wedding this past weekend as well! They are off to Aruba and we are jealous! We loved our honeymoon and would do it all over again!

Labor Day Weekend will bring us to St. Louis to visit the family and head to a Cardinals game! Hopefully they will start playing better ball leading up to our game! Check back soon for more updates!

    Smiley Baby for Easter Weekend!

    Sunday, April 4th, 2010

Ok, just wanted to post a few pics of Connor smiling and laughing! They are super cute! The kids are having a great Easter. We had Easter Baskets to open this morning as well as an indoor egg hunt!

We had a great day at Grandma Debbie’s yesterday with the kids getting some neat stuff! Connor got a White Sox warm up outfit, the girls got some great outfits and pajamas as well. Tons of candy of course, especially cotton candy (daddy’s favorite too)! Lunch was great and the kids were worn out by the time we got home.

We will be doing it all again shortly at Aunt Eve’s house. Hope everyone has a great Easter!

    Eight Weeks!

    Friday, March 12th, 2010

It’s been a couple weeks since the last post so it’s time for another update on Team Saip! Connor turns 8 weeks old today and has it gone fast. Beth says he’s not actually 2 months old till Monday which always confuses me because 8 weeks is also two months. It goes off of Birthdate and not number of weeks. Details Details.

We have had a busy two weeks. Ella and I saw Alice in Wonderland last weekend and she loved it. Later on Saturday, we celebrated Uncle Joe’s Bday at their house for dinner.

Scott, Ann and Julia came by to visit this past Sunday and we had a great time. Allison and Donnie popped over to visit while they were here. There were some good pics from that day that you can find on Flickr.

This week has been busy for us as we get adjusted to Beth being at work now for 2 weeks. We went for a walk last night and it was really nice to get out and enjoy some fresh air.

The next few weekends are jammed back with errands, a visit from Dena and Betty, Allison’s wedding shower and Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Vicki coming into town for the shower.

Before we know it, it’s going to be Easter and Baseball Season! We bought tickets to a few games at Busch Stadium. April 17th will be Connor’s first Cardinals game and I can’t wait! We have another game booked for Labor Day weekend with the whole St. Louis crew going. Should be a blast! Just have to convince Aunt Teri and the boys to make an appearance :) !

Check back soon for updates, videos and more photos!!!

    Sunday!

    Monday, January 18th, 2010

We just wanted to make a quick video post from Sunday! We had a great day with little man. He didn’t get bugged at all today and was able to sleep. A lot of family and friends came out today and it was good to see everyone.

Grandma Debbie and Grandma Marsha did the kid swap in the hospital parking lot. The girls were sleeping and it was good to see them for a few minutes. Ella convinced Grandma Debbie her coat was reversible and its so not. Ha ha. We were able to iChat with the girls again today. Beth and I even talked to John and Jill for a little bit.

As for Connor, he did have a good day but his eyes are a little swollen. You can’t see it in the professional photos that were taken at the hospital but in my photos you can. The dr said it could be a reaction from the ointment they put on his eyes after he was born. Hopefully, he will wake up tomorrow and they will be better. As I was writing this, Mommy’s milk came in and he wasn’t ready for it while nursing a minute ago. First spit up event!

    Happy Halloween!

    Sunday, November 1st, 2009

We hope everyone had a great Halloween! The girls had a blast this year dressing up and trick or treating! It was fun because they were both really into it this year. Ella was a candy corn witch and Kiley was “naughty and nice” in other words half angel/half devil.  We spent the day at Aunt Lori and Uncle Joe’s house with family (Grandma Marsha and Grandpa Mark, Grandma Debbie, Uncle John, Aunt Jill, Jake, Aunt Lori, Uncle Joe, Aunt Bonnie, and Uncle Dwayne). It was tons of fun! The neighborhood was hopping, and trick or treating was a blast! Ella had to have a conversation with just about everyone who’s house she went up to. It was hilarious. Kiley pooped out a little earlier than Ella, but she was having a great time running up to houses….Ella could have gone all night probably. We had a lot of great food, and too much candy!

Today, we are watching the Bears game at home, and then heading out to Caleb’s birthday party. Another busy weekend! Which is pretty much the norm for Team Saip!

Coming up… next weekend we have a visit with Scott and Ann to finally meet Julia, and going to the Bears game on Sunday. Then its off to Wisconsin to see Flecth and Ashley the following weekend. I believe we do not actually have anything definitely planned the weekend after that. Then we head off to ST. Louis for Thanksgiving. Should be another busy month! Time is flying and baby Saip will be here before we know it!
